Hi. I'm EthaN.

I believe that love exists in past, present and future. It is about listening, seeing and truly understanding the challenging and beautiful realities of what’s passed and present while holding space for the powerful potential of what’s coming. I choose to act with love as a call for personal and collective liberation.

Alongside friends and strangers, I started Love Extremist with a simple heart symbol in 2015.  It has since blossomed into a platform for media, products, experiences and projects that inspire new definitions and actions oriented around love. When I was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2017 it became my mission to use creative expression in all forms to inspire love for my personal healing, my community and the world.

I gather salons, facilitate workshops, support leaders, make art, host a podcast, create mantra videos, write about healing and share music. Here’s what I see.

I also dream up and host experiences in a phone-free space I call The Outernet and convene multi-generational conversations on gender, health and art with organizations like Summit Series, The World Economic Forum, Aspen Institute, TED, Kaiser Permanente, Life Over Dinner and NPR. 

In 2009 I co-founded Apliiq, a platform that empowers creative entrepreneurship with custom apparel.
